03/01/2010

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – March 1, 2010 – Ken Ritterspach announced today that he is retiring after serving as Stylmark’s President and CEO for the past five years.

Ken has been President of Stylmark since February 2005. During his tenure, he continued the Stylmark heritage of innovation with the success of LED lighting targeted to high-end jewelers and most recently lead the company to expand through acquisition. In 2009, Stylmark acquired Interlock Structures and it was successfully integrated into Stylmark under Ken’s watch. Ken has been an active member and served on the board of directors of the Association of Retail Environments (A.R.E.). Ken will be leaving Stylmark but will continue his passion of helping companies through his consulting work.

“I want to thank Ken for his contributions and hard work leading Stylmark these past five years,” said David Brink, Chairman and Trustee of Stylmark’s Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). “The past two years have been challenging to any company serving the retail market place, including Stylmark. But I am happy to report that Stylmark is in a strong financial position and is positioned well to return to growth as the market recovers.” David will be returning to Stylmark, where he served as President for 31 years, to lead the organization along with the rest of the senior management team.
