WASHINGTON D.C., April 28, 2009—Stylmark has been named a Silver ESOP Award winner by The ESOP Association. The Silver ESOP Awards recognize companies for their work in sustaining their ESOP for 25 years.
Based in Minneapolis, MN, Stylmark is an employee owned company specializing in aluminum, steel and lighting solutions for retail, hospitality and other commercial environments.
Ray Brink found Stylmark in 1954 and in 1976, he sold the company to his son David Brink and two partners. Stylmark’s ESOP was created in 1983 with a 5% minority interest. In 1998, David and his partners sold their shares to the ESOP program and Stylmark became a 100% employee owned.
