Combined capabilities will create dynamic solutions provider of metal and lighting products for retail and commercial environments
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – April 24, 2009 –
Stylmark, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of aluminum, steel and lighting products for retail and commercial environments, today announced that it is acquiring privately-held Interlock Structures International, Inc.
Interlock has provided custom solutions to the retail & trade show markets since 1982 - specializing in providing three-dimensional décor solutions. Interlock serves world-class retailers with solutions including specialty display fixtures, decorative ceiling and truss systems, graphics frames and kiosks.
“The combined technology and capabilities of our two companies allows Stylmark to continue expanding into new markets,” said Stylmark President Ken Ritterspach. “Interlock Structures is a great fit for our growth objectives.”
Interlock is also a leader in the exhibit industry having created four patented truss systems over the past 24 years which have become industry standards. “Interlock brings a portfolio of products including the STOWaway® folding truss system & Cirrus Exhibit Systems® and a strong reputation for high quality products and services,” added Kevin Hogan, Stylmark’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Stylmark and Interlock Structures will combine operations in Stylmark’s 160,000 sq. foot facility in Fridley and operate under the Stylmark name.
